When are Food Handler classes held?
- Food handler training will be conducted at The Historic Cass County Courthouse, 2nd floor courtroom located at 102 E. Wall, Harrisonville, MO. The classes consist of educational instruction and an exam. The fee for the course is $15.00 check or cash only. Bring fee along with a pen/pencil and a photo ID. Call 816-380-8425 to register for the class.

How do I get immunizations?
- CCHD carries all recommended childhood vaccines. All immunization visits are scheduled by appointment only – call 816-380-8431. Please bring the vaccination record or letter from the school indicating shots required. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

How do I get a
TB skin test?
- Call our nurse and schedule an appointment 816-380-8431, TB tests are $15 cash or check and must be read 48-72 hours later – never done on Thursday’s.

How can I get a birth/death certificate?
- Come in to CCHD and fill out an application and show your photo ID. The cost is $15 cash or check and the birth certificate will be printed the same day. A relative may obtain your birth certificate; they must state their relationship and show THEIR photo ID when obtaining the certificate.

How do I report a food complaint?
- If you see something at a restaurant, cafeteria or convenience store in Cass County, MO., that you think may be unhealthy, there are several ways to report it. You may call the Environmental Health Services at 816-380-8425 or send an e-mail to healthdepartment@casscounty.com with all the information you can think of about the situation.

How do I sign up for WIC?
- To be certified to participate in the WIC Program, call 816-380-8430. WIC staff can determine eligibility over the phone and make initial appointments.
